CITYWIDE: CARILLON PROJECT

THIS IS THE SECOND PROJECT THAT MYSELF AND PHOTOGRAPHER SHON CURTIS WORKED WITH CITY WIDE DEVELOPMENT ON. WITH THIS PROJECT THEY WORKED WITH THE CARILLON NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATION TO DEVELOP BRANDING AND SIGNAGE.

DURING THE PROJECT SEVERAL THINGS CAME TO FRUITION:

  • A LOGO WAS DESIGNED

  • A COLOR PALETTE WAS CREATED

  • VARIOUS SIGNS WERE DEVELOPED

  • A DESIGN AESTHETIC WAS IMPLEMENTED

  • SEVERAL DIFFERENT BANNERS WERE MADE

THE LOGO AMALGAMATES A SIMPLIFIED CARILLON BELL AMONGST THE STEWART ST BRIDGE WITH A RIVER IN THE FOREGROUND WITH A RISING SUN IN THE BACKGROUND.

THE FIVE DIFFERENT COLORS OF THE COLOR PALETTE WERE MATCHED WITH FIVE WORDS THAT REPRESENT THE IDENTITIY OF THE CARILLON NEIGHBORHOOD.

THROUGH OUT THE PROJECT A GEOMECTRICAL PATTERN CREATED BY ME WAS USED IN A COUPLE DIFFERENT WAYS. THE GEOMETRIC PATTERN WAS USED MAINLY ON BANNERS WITH THE SIGNAGE HAVE A MORE ORGANIC PATTERN.
